Issues Affecting Men

One segment of society that is historically underserved in the mental health field is men. Modern society has told men that they are supposed to be strong and self-determined at all times, and that any external need or show of emotion is a weakness. As such, men often go unsupported. Conversely, when a man makes an attempt to assert himself in the world, he is liable to be labeled as "toxic". As such, navigating such a culture can lead to frustration and apathy. At Keyhole Counseling we specialize in addressing issues commonly faced by men, such as emotional expression, masculinity, relationships, and work-related stress. Our goal is to promote courage, identify personal strengths, and implement effective problem-solving and decision-making strategies to live healthier and more fulfilling lives.
